Preparing Indian appetizers at home can be quite simple, especially with readily available ingredients. This guide will walk you through a few popular Indian appetizers that require minimal effort while delivering maximum flavor.

Pani Puri

Pani Puri, also known as Golgappa, is a beloved street food in India. It consists of crispy puris filled with spicy water, tamarind chutney, and a mix of potatoes or chickpeas.

Ingredients:
- Puri (store-bought or homemade)

- Chickpeas, boiled
- Tamarind paste
- Green chili, finely chopped
- Fresh coriander leaves, chopped
- Spices: cumin powder, chaat masala, and black salt
- Water

Instructions:
1. In a bowl, mix the mashed potatoes, chickpeas, chopped green chili, and coriander leaves.
2. Prepare the spicy water by mixing tamarind paste, cumin powder, chaat masala, black salt, and water to achieve the desired taste.
3. To serve, take a puri, poke a hole in the center, fill it with the potato-chickpea mixture, and dip it into the spicy water. Enjoy!

Vegetable Samosas

Vegetable Samosas are crispy, triangular pastries stuffed with spiced potatoes and peas. They are perfect for parties or as a snack.

Ingredients:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 3 medium potatoes, boiled and mashed
- 1 cup green peas, boiled
- Spices: cumin seeds, garam masala, turmeric powder, and chili powder
- Salt, to taste
- Water, for dough
- Oil, for frying

Instructions:
1. Combine flour with a pinch of salt and water to form a dough. Cover and let it rest for 30 minutes.
2. In a pan, heat oil and add cumin seeds. After they splutter, add the boiled potatoes, peas, and spices. Cook for a few minutes until well mixed.
3. Divide the dough into small balls and roll each into a thin circle. Cut the circle in half and form a cone. Fill the cone with the vegetable mixture and seal the edges.
4. Deep fry the samosas in hot oil until golden brown. Serve with mint chutney or tamarind sauce.

Onion Bhaji

Onion Bhaji, or onion fritters, are a delicious and crispy Indian snack made with thinly sliced onions, chickpea flour, and spices.

Ingredients:
- 2 large onions, thinly sliced
- 1 cup chickpea flour (besan)
- Spices: turmeric powder, cumin powder, and chili powder
- Salt, to taste

- Oil, for frying

Instructions:
1. In a mixing bowl, combine the sliced onions with salt and let them rest for about 10 minutes to release moisture.
