3. Biryani (Spiced Rice with Meat)

Biryani is a beloved dish that combines rice and meat with a blend of spices. To make this dish, gather:

  • 500g basmati rice
  • 500g chicken or mutton, cut into pieces
  • 2 onions, sliced
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 4-5 cloves
  • 4-5 green cardamom pods

  • 1/4 cup milk
