7. Medu Vada

8. Sabudana Khichdi

Sabudana khichdi is a popular dish during fasting periods, made from tapioca pearls. Rinse 1 cup of sabudana and soak it for 4-5 hours. In a pan, heat oil, add cumin seeds, peanuts, and diced potatoes. Once the potatoes soften, add the soaked sabudana, salt, and lemon juice. Stir well until the pearls turn translucent.
